A brilliant mist cleaves reality, as the trees grasp at the monochrome winter sky. Crisp air crackles with stories drawn from above and below.

Artist’s Statement:
A brilliant mist cuts cleanly through the frame, not as obstruction but as revelation—a dividing line where two realities meet and contend. The trees reach into the cold monochrome winter sky with a kind of urgency, their branches thin and electric, as though trying to pull something unseen down into form. Above and below collapse into one continuous tension, a mirrored pull between what is held and what is released.
The air itself feels charged—crisp, almost audible—crackling with fragments of stories that travel both upward and downward. In this suspended moment, the landscape becomes a conduit rather than a place: a threshold where memory, atmosphere, and perception intertwine. The mist does not obscure; it defines the edge of awareness, where clarity and ambiguity exist in equal measure.
There are places where the structure of the world seems to soften—where the boundary between what is seen and what is sensed begins to dissolve. In mythic traditions, mirrors were never merely surfaces—they were passages, invitations to perceive beyond the immediate. Here, the grove becomes such a passage—where something subtle reveals itself—not in the image, but in the act of seeing.
On a wall, the surreal conversation continues...
