Artist’s Statement:

Bathed in diffused light, the orchid emerges from a bright, open field—its form suspended between presence and absence. The arching stem reaches out, or is in leaning in?  Is there a subtle invitation, a hope? Each bloom participates in this gesture, unfolding along the curve in quiet succession, guiding the eye to the question.

The composition exists in that delicate threshold where motion is suggested, but uncertain, tentative.  Soft whites and gentle golds glow against the void, with ethereal presence.

This piece explores the idea that connection need not be loud to be powerful. Sometimes it is the smallest inclination—the softest reach may be an invitation, hoping that we notice, and respond.
