Title: Chromatic Canopy
Subtitle: A lattice of structure dissolves into color, where geometry becomes atmosphere and light turns architectural form into a living spectrum.
Reference: abstract architectural canopy, geometric roof pattern, colorful glass ceiling, modern lattice structure, vibrant urban abstraction, Toronto roof art, symmetry and light design
Artist’s Statement:
What begins as rigid, engineered form—a canopy of intersecting beams—transforms through color into something fluid and immersive. Not structure—conduit. Every beam carryies something invisible, something charged. The color hums through it, turning steel into circuitry. This is the skeleton of a city wired for motion. The grid, often associated with order and control, softens under the weight of shifting hues, where light fractures across the surface, turning repetition into variation, and predictability into surprise. The work reconsiders architecture not as static shelter, but as a dynamic participant in perception—something that breathes, refracts, and evolves, depending on where you stand.
Summary:
A structured world, reimagined through color, becomes a place of wonder rather than constraint.
