Artist's Statement:

Night has settled over the Grand Canyon. Across the immense wilderness, ancient mesas and towering cliffs emerge from the darkness, their pale summits washed in the cold silver light of the moon. 

There is an extraordinary stillness here, the kind that belongs to places where human presence is only recent, and still fleeting. The stone monuments rise from the darkness with the solemn grandeur of abandoned citadels, their towers and battlements shaped by millions of years of wind, water, and time.

The cool blue toning lends the landscape an almost supernatural character. Familiar formations become mysterious, their illuminated faces suspended above valleys of darkness, as the moon probes the ancient stone, finding hidden forgotten passages and forgotten stories.

There is something deeply reassuring in this immense solitude. The canyon has known countless nights beneath the same stars. Civilizations have risen and vanished, generations have passed, and the moon has continued its endless rythm in the sky.

In the silence, the great stone kingdom shares its stories with the night wind.
