Artist’s Statement:

Set against a sky thick with tension, this image leans into uneasy anticipation. The birds gather along the arc of a streetlight –their silhouettes an accumulating presence.

The sky is unsettled, streaked with ember tones and shadowed clouds that feel somehow burdened, as if the atmosphere carries  warning. Nothing moves, yet the composition hums with implication. The unlit streetlight looms as a question mark—its curve guiding the eye toward unknown answers.

This work explores psychological tension—how stillness can feel louder than motion, and how composition can carry the charge of something imminent. It resists resolution, inviting the viewer to sit within the discomfort of not knowing.
