Artist’s Statement:

In galaxies not so far away, these White Moon Orchids emerge as points of light within a boundless dark. Suspended against blackness, each bloom carries a  luminosity—petals unfolding in soft gradations that echo the distant shimmer of stars. What is intimate becomes immense, in a language that is infinite.

Arranged as a quartet, the clusters orbit slowly, in a visual rhythm that feels unbound. Each stem arcs with its own motion,  a constelletion within itself. Together, they become an unfolding galaxy, reaching toward the infinite.  The golden centers  of each bloom glow like distant suns, anchoring the details with warmth against the cold darkness.

This work lives at the intersection of scale and perception. Flowers become a universe–a transition that becomes expansive. In that crossing, there is an invitation to consider how closely the smallest forms mirror the vastest structures—or how vast structures mirror the smallest forms–and how splendor exists, whether held in the palm of a hand or scattered across the cosmos.
